Shark Sighting Closes Kauai Beach

HONOLULU -- Kauai lifeguards closed Ke`e Beach on Thursday afternoon after a shark was spotted in the area.Ocean Safety officials saw a 6- to 7- foot long black tip shark swimming in the lagoon.
They posted warning signs and closed the area to swimming. Officials will decide on Friday morning whether to reopen the beach.
