The Honolulu Fire Department said there was no chemical explosion at a business in the Pearl City Industrial Park.

The call came in at about 11:05 a.m. It happened at Sandwich Isle Termite and Pest Control on Wainoha Street.

Company officials said pressure popped the lid off a large drum that had a spent pesticide container in it.

Paramedics checked out two workers as a precaution. One reported having a headache

HFD dispatched a hazardous materials unit to the scene, but found no readings that were a danger.
