Have fun, experience the ocean around you, and enjoy new discoveries and adventures at Ocean Discovery Camp.This popular day camp, offered by the experienced marine educators at Pacific Whale Foundation, is for children ages 6 to 12. Campers can choose from an array of diverse activities each day to learn about the ocean while having fun. Activity choices include: Surf/windsurf lessons, tidepool explorations, beach fun, snorkel cruise to Molokini, hands-on science experiments, sports and games, arts and crafts, Maui Ocean Center visit, and much more.The camp is located at Pacific Whale Foundation’s air-conditioned Discovery Center in Ma’alaea. Transportation to field trips is provided in brand-new air-conditioned vans. Ocean Discovery Camp is staffed with friendly, enthusiastic and energetic professionals with years of teaching and summer camp experience.
The program is Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Daily and weekly rates are available. Pacific Whale Foundation members enjoy savings on all of our camp programs. The regular rate is $344 for 5 day sessions (Pacific Whale Foundation Member Rate is $275) and a daily session is $79 (Pacific Whale Foundation Member Rate is $68).For more information, call the education department at 808-856-8317.
